Default Anyone remember Kustom Tuck and Roll?

I've still got my 1971 Kustom Lead head with the germanium output transistors (I think). Originally a 'piggyback' amp, and the cabinet had two 15" Eminence speakers, and a 15" horn. Sold the box years ago because it weighed about 200 lbs, but the amp's still a screamer.

Kustom is still around -- they've actually released some new 40th Anniversary amps with tuck and roll...

They've also announced that Brian Wilson is an endorser. Check out the web site. Pretty cool.

Very cool.... Thanks. Glad to see they're still around. Looks they they're not 'Ross' anymore, but if the quality is there thats ok. Kustom's got a really interesting history of users and endorsers. I remember a Creedence Clearwater Revival cover where they were sitting in front of a wall of Kustom boxes. I saw Roy Clark live one time in his heyday using a small Kustom, and it sounded fantastic.

After reading your post I went to You Tube and searched for Roy Clark videos. Didn't find anything with a Kustom amp, but found him playing several different Gibson Byrdlands, including one with a Charlie Christian pickup. Very cool!

By the way, go here for a contest to win a free Kustom amp:

I have a Kustom 66 Dart tuck & roll. It is the best little practice amp I've ever used.
