Talking Come on in, the water's fine!

Hi, and welcome to Tube Freaks & Vintage Guitar Geeks––a gathering place for lovers of all things retro, be they old-school classics or modern re-issues.

While the forum at large already has categories for vintage guitars, tube amps and the like, I envision this particular section of the forum as a general haven from the digital rat race outside. Kind of a watering hole for the retro enthusiast.

Come on in and talk about your favorite old guitars, amps, bands, or even cars & video games for all I care... Viva la Vintage!

I've got a 1983 mexican telecaster that is the only single coil guitar I play. The sound is great when I like to shread to those high pitch, blues tones that I find myself playing over and over again. I play through a GT-5 Boss pedal and patch it into a Peavey 212 trans tube that gives me the sound I feel it deserves.

Blues are the only grooves I play with this setup and that's about as vintage as I get with it.
My 65' Fender quad-tube is reserved for my Angel, only.
