| I just got this guitar last week from www.drumcityguitarland.com and I love this bad boy. Fender did a great job on the heavy relic and the neck feels so comfortable with the broke in feeling. Anyone else get one of the summer limited edition guitars and what are your thoughts on it? ![]() |

| Yes that is like mine, but mine is in vintage white, which I love. That color on ebay is kinda gross lookin, plus the price is way to high. I bought my guitar at [url]www.drumcityguitarland.com from Jason. I don't want to publish what I paid for it, but it was way under the price showing on ebay and any other dealer I contacted about price. I would contact Jason if you are interested. He has one listed on their website in a natural finish. I have to say Fender is doing a great job on these guitars, and you are saving money by buying one of these, instead of the original era at a higher price. It is not the guitar, but the player who makes a guitar sound great. You can have a $10,000 guitar, but if you suck playing, the guitar is not going to sound good. ![]() |

| If you want that guitar, go for it! Ask for Jason and tell him that I said to contact him for a good deal. The price on the website can be lowered, if you talk with him. Also if he gives you 2 different price's for cash and credit, tell him that you will do the deal for the cash price on the credit card. Some dealers try to jack up the price because they get charged by the credit card companies for a fee to use their service's. You will not be dissapointed in dealing with Drumcity/guitarland. I love my Strat and 2 years ago I got from Jason the custom shop Pete Townsend Schecter guitar, the black one he used years ago shaped like a Telecaster. Let me know if you get that guitar. They also just go in a limited edition custom shop strat in nocaster blonde with a black pickguard. I am thinking about getting that one. ![]() |

| I can't spend the money right now... My band is in the middle of recording a new album and gearing up for a "full court press".... so a buck spent on a guitar today is a buck that could have gone to recoverable stuff (marketing, gig expenses, etc.)....then the mortgage and paying down existing debt. It's going to be a year or so before I can really spend big bucks on a guitar. If I tried it out, and if these guys had the Buffalo Brothers trade-up policy, I might be tempted to add to my debt (although a re-fi might be in my near future).... Instead, I might do some custom work on my Nashville Tele... perhaps new C neck and a mini-humbucker in the neck position. Here's a closer look at that tele: ![]() Plays and sounds better than any guitar I've ever played (including a real 58 Les Paul & a real 62 Strat).
