I use 100w Marshall with Celestions 25w Greenbacks 4x12 and Gibson/Fender guitars. I would like to try TREBLE BOOSTER, but I can't buy and try them all on my own. Please, tell me, what do you think I should go for and why. I'm not after antique pedals, clones are OK I think at this stage, but I won't mind to learn more about first boosters. I hope to get some healthy feedback here! Thanks!! Last edited by canrockonthisthing : 03-16-2007 at 08:37 PM.

I've never used a treble booster, so I can't give you firsthand advice, but I did some browsing on the web this morning and found the following: http://www.brianmayworld.com/treble_booster.htm (apparently designed for/with Brian May of Queen, and built by Greg Fryer, who at one time actually dismantled and restored Brian May's original, hand-built guitar) http://reviews.harmony-central.com/r...Effects/search (Multiple varieties of treble boosters are reviewed here. Just type in "treble booster" in the model field) Hope this helps... Tom

Thank you, Tom, very much! Reading all those reviews extended my knowledge on subject. So far I've been practicing "plug'n'play". Now I'm after "tone". I haven't bought anything yet. There are so many devices to chose from. Reading articles helps. It gives an idea of small elements you have to be aware of before making actual purchase. I appreciate your help and your time! Rock on! Last edited by canrockonthisthing : 03-23-2007 at 10:45 AM.
