tube ratings

have sovtek 6l6s in my 65 vibolux reverb with the numbers 00 08 painted near the base of the tube. Was told groove tube 6l6 with the raing of #8 would match. I have also seen sovtek 6l6 with the numbers 03 14 on them. Is there any relation to the sovtek numbers and the numbers in the groove tube rating system?
