| mayones.com/eng has a lot of user comments like these: Users opinions: Gaze / Spoil-Engine (Belgium); www.spoilengine.com Playability: best guitar I`ve ever played! No discussion. Has a thin neck just like my custom Jackson, has more sustain than ANY of my guitars, has a very accessible and smooth fretboard, has a perfect balance, doesn`t weigh like a ton and still have lots of low end, fits nicely around my body. I love it! From a playing point of view, there is nothing at this moment I would like to see improved. I thougt that ESP Horizon came very close to my perfect guitar, but Regius beats it because of the thinner neck and more fitting body shape. Regius simply becomes a part of you when you play... Design & finish: wow, absolutely stunning! The guitars are not black but deep gray and that just makes them so unique and fantastic. The wood layers in the neck, the binding, the rounded pickup holes, the heel at the headstock...it`s all perfect. Also the black hardware is major cool. And the inlays: just how we wanted it! - more info about Spoil-Engine in our: May-players Gallery - detailed description of Spoil-Engine's guitars in our Custom Shop Gallery Pedro / Congress (Belgium); www.congress.be Regius has really become my favourite mascot, just like my dog Kingpin. I think the relation can be discribed as similar. The guitar is so very beautiful at the outside, and it obeys its master (will do what you want it to do), and it's got so very stable sound, on which you can fullly rely, but will get pretty agressive if needed. When you turn on the gain and volume, you create a monster!!! Josh / Congress (Belgium); www.congress.be Once in a musician’s lifetime, he stumbles upon an instrument which increases his talent and inspiration. I had an Ibanez S series back in 1991 and this guitar really improved my style and playing. I switched to a more varied guitar later which I found in the Gibson Les Paul 1960 goldtop. I went from a slick featherlight guitar to a mastodon log 6-string. The difference was so big that I searched for something in between. I tried ESP, Washburn, Schecter, but none of those held my interest and most of all: they didn’t make a better player! Now, years later, some friend came up to me with his custom built polish guitar: a Regius-6 by Mayones. I looked at this beauty and immediately fell in love with it: the body was perfect, the neck just right and the sound was amazing on every amp we tried. I was hooked and e-mailed the Mayones-facility directly. Now, finally I have my custom Regius and man, I haven’t stopped playing ever since! I’m really hooked to this 6-string, just like with my first real good guitar back in the days. With this guitar everything works: hammering, arpeggios, overtunes, sweeps, you name it...everything works!!! This is definitely the guitar that’ll make me a much better guitarist and songwriter! Every guitarplayer that wants to get the best out of his fingers should immediately order a Mayo for himself, period.
