| This is a variation on the Les Paul Neal Schon Model that was limitedly released. I think that model may have just had some cooler electronics. Check this out: YouTube - Neal Schon and his new Les Paul Edit: re-watched the video... the Neal Schon is based on a LP Custom and has that wicked awesome sustainer.... If I were more of a shredder/lead player, I'd go for one of these.

| Vintage Guitar (I think) had an article on Brad Gillis of Night Ranger fame. I seem to recall he had a Les Paul that he put a Floyd in... made me cringe. I guess I only like seeing Floyds in Frankenstrats. Not that I'm a big Floyd guy. When I pick up an axe with a wang bar, I start forgetting how to make a chord, and I just start sawing away on the bar. |

| I played on of these briefly at Guitar Center (Les Paul Axcess). This is a nice solid Les Paul with some cool playability modifications (curved back, and easy access high register).....BUT, a few second's later I played a Custom Shop VOS 60's Les Paul standard, and it was a way better guitar for $500 less. I'm a fan of the 60's neck vs. the thicker 50's necks. Also tried a cool 50's Custom Shop Les Paul with P-90s that I saw Elvis Costello play a few months ago....very unique, but I'm just not a fan of the thicker necks.
