OK I'm back! I just signed up for my first lessons and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm going to rent a guitar until I find one I like. WIsh me luck!

Good luck, have a great time, and make sure you get your instructor to teach you a few songs you really like and will have fun playing. That will help keep things interesting while you're learning the basics.
