Default Learning to shred--what are best resources?

I need something new to do. I've fallen back into Hendrix blues which I learned way back in '68. I haven't done a disciplined, 'smart' practice routine in a long while. I dug up a copy of Gambale's tape from the late eighties and was thinking of really applying myself to that till I get it.
What do you other modern guitarists recommend? [I know all my modes, positioning et al--just wanna really work at learning something new and applying it to my style]
Thanx, Dan

Get John Petrucci's Rock Dicipline DVD/Book. He'll teach you all the techniques you need to learn.

Zakk Wylde also has a video from a few years back called Pentatonic Hardcore which has some good stuff in it, but he is not as good at teaching as Petrucci.
