Default Fender USA Strat with LR Baggs Pickup

Just bought a USA Strat Blue with LR Baggs Piezo. I am really surprised how good the acoustic side of this guitar sounds. If anyone is looking for this kind of multi purpose guitar-I highly recommend the LR Baggs PU. Got a great deal on it pre-owned $500 like new!!

Thanks for the recommendation. After reading your post I checked their web site and it's impressive. Having Tom Petty and Dave Grohl as customers is a pretty nice resume...

Do you have the "X-Bridge" unit on your strat?

Tom

I have a telecaster nashville power with the Fishman piezo system. I use it more for the doubling effect (running the signal through another amp) than acoustic simulation. Piezos might be good enough to fool folks live, but there is nothing like a vintage acoustic stereo mic'd in a good room in the studio. Otherwise it screams "80s" on most recordings I've heard.
