Tokai guitars

Does anybody have any opinions on Tokai guitars. I am trying to locate a good replica (acoustic, or electric) tele or strat or whatever. Does anybody have any ideas on these or any others??

I played one Tokai to date, that was a knock off of the pink paisley Tele. Not sure of the age but it was selling for $1600 at the Guitar Center Hollywood. I thought the guitar was great. Looked, played and sounded just like a high-quality Tele.

Also, I know many people love the Tokai "Love Rock" Les Paul copies that we made back in the day.

My impression is that Tokai, like most Japanese builders, puts out instruments of very good quality. I own two guitars that were built in Japan (Tele Custom reissue and a Kramer hair metal guitar) and I am very pleased with both.
