IMO the Reverse Flying V is such an oddball that it is a can't miss in the investment department. The original Flying V was an abysmal failure on the market until Jimi created a demand for them. Now if you can find one of those original Flying V's, you've got a small fortune.

The new century flying V is another guitar that I think will see appreciation. It is simply a beautiful axe that is going to be a future classic.

IMO the rest of them are going to be hit or miss. There are some great Les Pauls and SGs that have potential but you'll just never know until it happens.

Stumbled on these two future GOW @ AMS - 84 Explorer with EMG's and a Gibson RD Reissue Silverburst - weeks 47 & 48...I think the RD is interesting and of course I'm an explorer fan.

Interesting. The Explorer looks alright, although personally I'm not crazy about white guitars. An RD reissue in Silverburst? That's just offbeat enough that it may work.

Hey, great find Gibzenerfender! I'll post this over on the blog

Glad to see Gibson moving into something more interesting in the way of reissues.
