Default Hello from FL...

Hi everyone. I just joined after hearing about this forum from some of the other members of the other guitar forums I am on. Some of you may recognize my user name MMCQUAIN since I use the same name on all the forums. I'm also on LesPaulForum, MyLesPaul, Harmony-Central, TheGearPage, TheFenderForum and CafeWah (God this is an addiction almost as bad as GAS for guitars, etc. )

Anyway, I just wanted to say HI and check out this place.

g'day from Australia, mmquain!

I've just rekindled my love of guitars, and have just discovered guitar forums and I love this place!

Welcome, mm. My wife and I lived in Sebring FL for two years -- believe it or not. We liked being in FL but did not like being in Sebring

Took a quick tour of your photos. Your guitars look great, and it's good to see another southern rock fan on board.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yes Badger809 - I'm another southern rocker at heart. That plus classic rock and lots of blues
are all I'd need to be happy musicially for many years to come!

adaptable - I'll post a few pics here of my main gear (some of which I'm in the process of selling to buy more gear!!! It never ends )

My amp (have 2 of these and keep one at church and one in home studio room) and the pedalboard is the one I keep at home.
Oh, the Marshall Lead 12 5005 model is a great sounding amp for recording, etc. (I've heard that Billy Gibbons used one for
"My Head's In Mississippi". I keep this baby around for fun.:

Some of music room at home:

And this is the pedalboard I use at church (but I've swapped out the TU2 for a TU12H and have recovered the bottom of the board
with new black material for the Velcro to stick to as it was getting pretty bad from lots of pedal swap outs over the last year or so):

Here's a better pic of the big pedalboard I have at home (but it now has the TU2 instead of the TU12H):

This Hamer Flying V really is for my son, who's taking guitar lessons with a mini-Strat and will grow into this guitar (he's 8 right now):

He named it "Bionicle" (after his favorite Lego toys). Here it is with some of my other guitars - The Nashville Tele was recently sold and
the Taylor T5 is up for sale now. The Les Paul Classic Antique is the only one I'm hanging on to (I'm mainly a Gibson guy by-the-way):

And now for the guitar collection...
Here's that Classic Antique I mentioned above:

And my Les Paul Custom Premium Plus AAA+ (currently for sale - I hope this is OK to mention) to help pay for an R0 that I'm on the hunt for:

And my "baby" - 2004 "Wildwood Edition" (limited to only 40 ever made) Gibson CS-356 in honeyburst with a 60's neck:

And this is my current "project guitar" - 2000 Super Strat (like a Deluxe Players Strat) that I'm rewiring with SCN pups with some custom tone/volume setup (still trying to decide):

And Yes I took the plastic off the pickguard!

And lastly, this is the Taylor T5 I'm wanting to sell to get a more traditional acoustic/electric:
