Default Question...

Do you think that the Guitars of the week will eventually be more valuable to collectors since they are in limited production of 400 vs the 1000 run Guitar of the Month?

Also, the least expensive GOM is the '09 Holy V that comes in just under $1,900! (Street)

Wow. G, you are a research maniac! I love every guitar in your first two posts. An LP295 with flowered pickguard and Bigsby? Totally cool.

I think I can get positive about the Holy V as a one-of-a-kind work of art. But the reverse Explorer...I'll have to think about that for a while. That headstock looks horrible.

As to the value, I actually think the GOM program will generate higher long-term values, because they are generally better concepts than a lot of the GOW guitars, and there were just too many GOW guitars. The entire program seemed overdone. The GOM program is a better concept, and it looks like they put more effort into the design of the guitars.

That LP-295 with the Bigsby is sweet...I'd buy it in a heartbeat....if I didn't have other "responsibilities" I'd love to buy a decent LP at some point....but it will have to get in line behind the Larry Carlton ES-335 I'm jones-ing for.....and the "beater" Taylor I "need" for all the acoustic gigs I've been doing lately. So many guitars, so little time....
