Default Where is he now?

I decided to test the magic of You Tube by doing a search for Stanley Jordan. I was amazed by how much content was there.

Check this out: http://youtube.com/watch?v=HjXN3OLgoqs

Warning: The hair, clothes, guitars, and even guitar tones are painfully 1980s. Even the playing may get a bit excessive...but try to block that out and appreciate his talent and technique.

The good news is that the camera looks like it was operated by a guitar fan -- lots of good closeups of the his hands and the fretboard(s).

Let me know what you think...

He played in Orange County a few years ago at a jazz festival. Since the 80's I've seen a few guys play in the style of Stanley Jordan. I'm more blown away by Tuck Andres or Tommy Emmanuel these days....they play a guitar like a guitar.
