well the scores are tied, and I made my choice. I paid a deposit on a Midnight Wine MIM Tele today. It's due to arrive in Australia in 6-8 weeks, but as soon as we pay it off, it'll be living in a cupboard until September 7, my first Father's Day.

I'm thinking that one day I'll upgrade the pickups ... are the Fender Noiseless pickups good? Or would you go some sort of Seymour Duncans?
