Because its a new Mexican Tele, the finish will be Polyurethane, which means it will probably not fade or change over time, but I have seen newer Fenders where the white pick guard dulls a bit after a few years. I'd pick the midnight wine/white or black....simply because it matches more of my clothes! The funkier Fender colors make the guitar seem dated after a few years. I have a Candy Tangerine colored American Deluxe, and the finish seems a little cheesy when compared to my buddy's vintage and relic models.
