The technology is cool. As a home guitarist only, I hate always having to tune guitars. Even worse is when a guitar's setup/intonation gets out of whack. I'm finally convinced that you guys were right about that -- I really need to be able to correct those issues myself.

But I digress.

That purple finish is ugly, especially with the gray pickguard on the SG.

Give me the robot technology with a beautiful sunburst or other great-looking finish and I'm definitely going to take a serious look at it.
