I'd almost go for one if it were a Standard or Les Paul Custom....if I'm going to spend that much money with that system, I'd want it to be one of their more upscale models. The Studio models seem like Gibson skimped on the binding to save money on the manufacturing. I'm not really feeling the purple either... I'd prefer a Gold Top or some kind of burst.

The system itself if a great "working musicians" tool. If my time tuning in between sets was cut from 30 seconds to 5 seconds or less without stressing, it would be pretty useful.....but then again, depending on the set, I could be swapping out guitars....if I were doing enough swaps, I'd have a guitar tech who would tune the guitar! I would feel more comfortable about using alternative tunings with this system. I wonder if you could put this system on a Line6 Variax....that would be the ultimate "Robot Guitar"
